Proud To Be A Chef '27

Website Development

Proud to be a Chef is a professional development program designed to support and inspire Australia and New Zealand’s next generation of culinary talent. The project focused on transforming the program into a more considered digital experience, bringing applications, member access, content and communications together within one cohesive platform. Designed to feel simple and intuitive on the surface, the experience is supported by a powerful connected system working seamlessly behind the scenes.

Building the member experience

The PTBAC platform was designed as more than a standard campaign site. It needed to support an ongoing member experience, giving users a simple way to join, access exclusive content and manage their details through one connected digital platform.

The build brought together Webflow, Memberstack and a series of supporting integrations, while keeping the front-end experience clean, fast and easy to navigate.

A seamless sign-up journey

The registration flow was designed to make joining the program as straightforward as possible.

Custom forms capture the required member information, while Memberstack manages account creation and authentication behind the scenes. More detailed data collection is handled through connected Fillout workflows, allowing conditional fields and user information to be processed without adding unnecessary complexity to the experience.

A personalised member experience

Once logged in, members are sent to the relevant stage of the sign up process via an application router, to ensure they can't re-submit a previously completed sign-up section.

Memberstack controls access to protected areas of the site via assigned plan stages, while the Webflow front end keeps everything consistent with the wider PTBAC brand experience. The result is a member area that feels purpose-built and fully integrated into the platform.

Connecting everything behind the scenes

A large part of the platform’s functionality happens out of sight. Member data moves between Webflow, Fillout, Memberstack, Make and Mailchimp, ensuring information submitted through the site is captured, updated and passed into the right systems automatically.

The platform was structured to grow alongside the program, allowing PTBAC to add members, content and functionality while reducing repetitive administration. What could have been a collection of disconnected tools instead operates as one cohesive digital experience.
